“An All-Candidates’ Debate on Science & Technology!

From clean water and medicine to databases and bridges, the daily lives of Canadians are deeply tied to science and technology. Yet science policy and evidence-based decision-making are rarely given attention during election campaigns: until now.

Join us for a moderated debate on issues related to science and technology in Canada. Confirmed candidates:
Anita Vandenbeld (Liberal Party of Canada)
Marlene Rivier (New Democratic Party of Canada)
Mark Brooks (Green Party of Canada)

Special guest moderator: Kathryn O’Hara, CTV Chair in Science Broadcast Journalism at Carleton University’s School of Journalism and Communication, and former co-anchor of CBC’s Newsday in Ottawa.
