Nostradamus was refering to the rebirth of the volcano under the great lakes. The rending apart of faults running from Montana thru N.dak,,Mn and Wisc and points further east.During his time it is unlikely anyone knew anything much about tektonics and North americas geological past. But he was interested in the future,or given a vision of it! The bi products of that long ago event include gorgeous Lake Superior agates and diamonds strewn along the path of passing glaciers. No doubt such an event would be a major disaster! But one that has happened before in precambrian times and could happen again.

A couple of comments. First, some one on the podcast said the 45th parallel is up in the arctic. This is not so acceptable for a Canadian to say. The US/Canada boarder is the 49th parallel so the 45th is south of the that. It is a common expression to say north of 60 when referring to the north. Maybe I miss heard.

Second, did the presenter really not know the correct pronunciation of Danube?? And yes Hitler was born in Vienna which is on the Danube. Sometime I wonder about you young peeps.
