Full length song "Don't Start Believin'" based on Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'". Adam reminds everyone of all the mistakes that had been made on the show up to this point. Darren gives a rundown of all the myths covered on the show.
Lyrics: Just a small town girl Livin’ in a complex world She can’t help but believe in everything
Kevin Trudeau poised Looking for a cheap exploit He is willing to sell people anything
Sylvia Browne tries To bait you with her psychic lies Even though she's wrong she goes on and on and on and on.
Crackpots...waiting To expose the government Twin Towers...falling to soon Misled people Looking for anomalies and Thinking we didn’t go to the moooooooooooooooon
Not thinking hard to get my fill Of bogus placebo pills I'd pay anything to be deceived just one more time
Some lame story in the news Reporters don’t look for clues Credulity never ends It goes on and on and on and on
Zealots trying Just to disregard the science Claiming the earth isn't so old Foolish people Saying the earth isn't warming Since last week it was so coooooooooold
Don't start believin' Until you see some reason Its a streetlight, people Not a ufo-oh-oh
Don't start believin' Hang on to your reason Its a streetlight, people not a ufo-oh- oh
Good song, but I don't know what your fascination with street lights is... surely you could have mixed it up a bit... "it's an airplane not a ufo", "its a balloon with a flare not a ufo", "its a ufo not an alien spacecraft",
The original song has the word streetlight over and over. It also plays on a bit of an internet meme. When "UFO" pictures are posted on fark, for example, many people will comment that it is obviously a streetlight regardless of the context. I guess we could have mixed it up a bit though.

Boo hoo, I can't follow all of it. What's the deal with the sugar/hyper thing?
I did not actually say it ran through New York. The original Nostradamus Prophecy was that it went through New York, and Elan had commented it didn't. Then Xander said it went through Canada North of our border (Northern Ontario, Hudson Bay area). I corrected this saying that it ran through the US, and the 49th was the border. This is essentially correct. The 49th is, as you said, the border from BC to Manitoba. The 45th mostly runs through the US, only occasionally crossing parts of Canada due to the fact that our border isn't a straight line.
In episode 100 you said the 45th parallel runs through New York. The 45th parallel actually is the border between Quebec and New York. The border between Ontario and New York runs south of the 45th parallel. The 45th parallel runs through Ontario from Cornwall, between Kingston and Ottawa to Georgean Bay.
The 49th parallel is only the border from Manitoba west.
I got very concerned about 'cupping' as said on RCI's The Link: www.rcinet.ca/.../archives (03 Aug 2010)
"OLD COUNTRY ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES: When it comes to minor health problems, some immigrants turn to alternative therapies that are popular remedies in their countries of origin. Oussayma Canbarieh reports on the use in Canada of the Middle Eastern blood-letting therapy known as "cupping"."

I don't like the song. Pat's songs suck, except for the 99 problems and this one.

Perhaps a good subject for "The Reality Check".
Fuck it. Just don't play the lottery or you deserve to lose your money.
