I have one small correction for you: Salvia divinorum is illegal in at least a couple of American states, including - of course - my home state of Oklahoma.

I think it's hilarious that idosing is "the new thing", when I can recall experimenting with such stupidity over 14 years ago. I spent many hours attempting to "get high", only to become either relaxed, or dazed, or sleepy, or nothing. The Brain Wave Generator (software) has been around for at least a decade, and it includes awesome strobe flashing to accompany the noises. There are even companion websites that list all of the various frequencies and their supposed effects so that you can create your own binaural beats. Fun! I can see it giving some people seizures, but that's about it.
